Model Bike Ordinance
The SLCBAC had developed a model Bicycle Parking Ordinance. All riders are encouraged to present this ordinance to their local jurisdiction. It can be placed in either the bicycle code or more typically in the Zoning ordinances.

This ordinance was recently submitted to the Taylorsville City Council and City manager with good support. The City is currently in the process of updating their Zoning, if you live in Taylorsville, contact your Council representative. www.ci.taylorsville.ut.us

We encourage anyone to use the 2 or 3 minute open mic. at most City Council meetings or contact your Councilman directly to introduce to your local government. Contact Dan if you need any assistance with approaching your local government
